If you are someone who learns best by getting your hands dirty and are new to APEX, Instructor-Led Training is for YOU. You'll  learn from the Oracle APEX Development Team themselves.. Shakeeb, Marc, Jayson, Vincent and others will be there coaching, teaching, and making certain you'll be productive when you return to the office. This is beginner content and no prior knowledge of APEX is required.

**This bootcamp is recommended for BEGINNERS ONLY and limited to the first 100 people that register. Please reach out to Amanda Wujcik if you have any questions.**


Speaker Bios


Ashish Mohindroo
Bio: Ashish is the GM / Vice President of Product Management for Oracle APEX - low-code application platform.  Under his leadership, APEX Community has grown to 800,000+ developers world wide building 19+ million apps.  APEX also received the 2023 Technology of the Year award for Software Development platforms by InfoWorld.  Prior to Oracle, Ashish was the General Manager for the technology incubator at Bertram Capital, a private equity firm, where he incubated and launched four Cloud startups focused on DevOps and hybrid clouds including Morpheus Data. He was also the Chief Marketing Officer at NuoDB, a cloud database company. Before that he held various product and marketing leadership roles at Salesforce and Symantec.

Noah Glushien
Bio: Noah Glushien is a principal member of the APEX team where he contributes to APEX UI development as well helping to ensure the platforms accessibility. He has been a front end developer, and an accessibility advocate, for over 20 years. Noah's passion for UI design, and digital accessibility, is what drives him to help build applications that are well tested and usable by everyone. Prior to joining Oracle, he worked as the Senior Front End Developer at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum where he helped build online exhibitions and other web based applications. Noah's work experience prior to joining the museum had him working as a front end developer for companies that dealt with the Life Sciences and Technology Publishing industries.


Monica Godoy
Bio: Monica joined the APEX Team in 2019 to grow the APEX Community in LAD and create awareness about how customers can modernize their existing Forms apps using APEX. Before Oracle, Monica worked as an Oracle APEX Consultant, modernizing Oracle Forms apps and developing brand-new applications with Oracle APEX.  


Paige Hanssen
Bio: Paige Hanssen is a member of the Oracle APEX team where she contributes to APEX product development as well as APEX Strategic Projects. She has played a significant role in the development of several APEX features focusing on user experience, and has contributed to every APEX release since joining the team in 2021. She is also the author of the popular Movies Watchlist workshop, and has shared her expertise in several sessions of the APEX Office Hours as well as leading labs at Oracle CloudWorld 2023. Paige has a bachelor's in Computer Science from Colby College, served two years as a collegiate volleyball coach, and continues to coach volleyball to this day.



Jayson Hanes
As Senior Principal Product Manager for APEX, Jayson Hanes is in his 6th year working at Oracle, and has been using APEX for many years. Jayson works closely with the core APEX product development team, and supports many internal Oracle LOB and external customer APEX development teams. He continuously endeavors to learn about customer use-cases and requirements to effectively better understand how to help shape future releases of APEX. 

Tim Kimberl
Tim Kimberl leads UI for Oracle APEX and is responsible for the UX design and UI development of the APEX platform, including the App Builder, Universal Theme, Redwood, and numerous strategic APEX projects. Tim strives to deliver a modern, pixel-perfect, and jank-free UI experience for APEX developers and APEX end users. Tim has been designing with CSS for over 20 years. He brings his deep knowledge of building UI frameworks that are versatile enough to enable users to build what ever apps they want.



Vincent Morneau
Consulting Member of Technical Staff for Oracle APEX. Leading the Oracle APEX mobile experience, PWA, UI engine, and the APEX ideas app team. Author of APEX open source projects. Oracle ACE Alumni. Conference speaker.

Shakeeb Rahman
Bio: Shakeeb Rahman is an Architect at Oracle where he leads APEX UX and APEX strategic projects. Shakeeb is on a mission is to bring tasteful design and world-class user experience to the enterprise, and strives to empower APEX developers with the tools they need to easily build beautiful, modern, accessible apps. 



Marc Sewtz
Bio: Marc Sewtz is a Senior Director of Software Development at Oracle in New York City. He manages the product development of Oracle APEX and leads the global APEX development team. APEX is Oracle’s Low-Code software development platform, which enables customers to build scalable and secure enterprise apps for Cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments. Marc joined Oracle in 1998. After working for Oracle Consulting in Europe and the US for several years, he joined the APEX development team in 2002. Marc holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Applied Sciences in Wedel, Germany.



Vladislav Uvarov
Vlad Uvarov is software development manager for Oracle's Server Technologies division based in Reston, Virginia. He leads a team responsible for bringing Oracle APEX to Oracle Autonomous Database, building continuous integration and delivery pipelines for APEX, as well as helping APEX customers solve architecture and integration challenges. Vlad has been at Oracle since 2006 and has background in computer science, technical management, and DevOps.
